DESCRIPTION:For the 2nd race in the Hātea Run 2023 Night Series\, we start an out and back 5km from the end of Waimahanga Road. The course undulates slightly along a gravel path between the Onerahi peninsula and our harbours’ mangroves. This course has historically formed the backbone of our Grand Prix series in the summer months\, until 2022 that is… but we return to this classic during our tour of Whangārei’s trails for the Night Series. \nWhere?\n \nWe will meet at the entrance to Boswell’s Track at the end of Waimahanga Road. \nWhat Time?\nRegistrations from 5.30pm The event starts at 6.00pm \nEntry Fee\nHatea Members – Free Others – $2 Koha \nHealth & Safety\n\nBring a headlamp/Torch. DESCRIPTION:The 3rd race in the Hātea Run 2023 Night Series heads to the edge of the Town Basin. The 2023 Whangārei Aquatic Center to Whareora Return course starts around the back to the Aquatic Center\, then heads down the end of Ewing Road\, before shooting up the steps to Vale Road. The course runs alongside the Hātea river all the way to Whareora Road\, before returning the way you came. \nWhere?\n \nYou can use the Aquatic Center parking\, then follow the path around the side\, to the rear of the facility\, where the race will start. \nWhat Time?\nRegistrations from 5.30pm The event starts at 6.00pm \nEntry Fee\nHatea Members – Free Others – $2 Koha \nHealth & Safety\n\nBring a headlamp/Torch.
