SUMMARY:The 2025 Downhill Flying Kilometer
DESCRIPTION:For the 5th race of the Hātea Run 2025 Night Series\, we start at the top of the shared path on Jack Street. It’s a full bore blast on a slight decline\, along a concrete surface for a single kilometer. As the final race in the Night Series\, it’s the time to lay it all out and blow your lungs out on the finish line! Don’t miss out on the post event drinks at Frings after the event. \nWhere?\n \nWe will meet at the entrance to the shared path on Jack Street. Please note\, some club members often meet at the town basin and jog up to Jack street as a warm up\, then jog back to cool down after the all out blast\, keep an eye on the club Messenger chat if you want to get in on that act. \nWhat Time?\nRegistrations from 5.30pm at Jack street\, the event starts at 6.00pm sharp \nEntry Fee\nHatea Members – Free Others – $5 Koha \nHealth & Safety\n\nBring a headlamp/Torch.
