Dukes Nose.
This month we travel North for a fun shorter out and back run along the Wairakau Steam trail and up onto Dukes Nose. This peak provides some outstanding views over the Whangaroa Harbor. It’s a mix of single trail and forestry trail with a few stream crossings and a little rock scramble and climbing to get up to the top of the rock. Trail shoes absolutely recommended for this one.
