2024 Hatea Grand Prix – Event 3 Results

In the third bash of the Hatea Grand Prix, the competition was a ripper as everyone gave it heaps, showing off their skills and guts. Dwayne Collecutt took the gold, smashing the track in a wicked time of 18:08, snagging the number one spot in the 0-49 age bracket. David Nielsen wasn’t far behind, snatching second overall and in the 0-49 age group with a solid time of 18:52. Allan Staite wasn’t one to be left in the dust, cruising into third overall and third in the 0-49 age group with a time of 19:03. Meanwhile, Tim Goodwin was the king of the 50+ crew, bossing the track and taking the top spot with a time of 20:39, showing true grit and determination.

Hannah Thompson strutted her stuff as the top sheila, taking first place in the 0-49 age group with a stellar time of 22:25. And let’s not forget about Judith Bradshaw, who rocked the 50+ women’s category, nabbing the top spot with a time of 27:32. The event was chocka with talent from all ages, showing off the true Kiwi spirit of giving it a go and having a good yarn.
