Hātea Run Membership Options
We have various Hātea Harriers membership options to choose from, which are designed to cover most people’s needs.
Hātea Run Membership Differences
Active or Competitive
A person who joins as an Active Member or Competitive Member becomes a financial member of Hātea Run. This allows the member to participate in Club nights and runs, Interclub events, Athletics Northland and Inter- Centre meets, and National Championships both as an individual or as part of a team.
Social
A person aged 15 years and over who pays the Social Member fee becomes a financial member of Hātea Run. This allows the member to participate in Club nights & Club runs.
Volunteer
A volunteer is a club member who gives their time freely to the Club but does not generally take part as a participant. Volunteers pay a fee to join the Club and are financial members of the Club.
Life
Life Members of the club are considered to be Club supporters. They are exempt from paying any Club fee but must pay any fee imposed by Athletics New Zealand if they wish to be a Competitive Member. They are deemed to be financial members of the Club.
Honorary
Honorary Members may be elected by the Executive or at an AGM. There is no Club fee payable by Honorary members but they may pay a fee to the Club as a donation.
Official
Only available to Graded Officials who must be a member of Athletics NZ Officials Association.
