Hatea Grand Prix – 16th February 2022 Race Results

Race 4 of the 2022 Hatea Grand Prix Series started from the end of Waimahanga road in Onerahi at 6pm. We had 26 runners in attendence today, with 3 new faces and a couple of old ones turning up for their first crack at this series for 2022. At 25 degrees celcius & 68% humidity it was prime training weather, but definitely warm for a face 5k. For some it was a chance to bag 9 bonus points for the first time, with 6 runners achieving it. Maria Easterbrook has stealthily overtaken Kim Drummond for the lead in the Women’s under 49 category. I’ve added a change of position column this week so you can see how the points are tracking for people.

See you next Wednesday for the final race and with zero strategic sand bagging in site!
