In torrential rain and a solid wind, a hardy bunch of Whangarei runners headed down to compete in the 2nd Auckland Marathon of 2022. They all did us proud overcoming their own individual challenges to cross the line with some impressive times.

Judith Bradshaw sets new NZ Marathon age group record at Auckland Marathon.
Hatea life member Judith Bradshaw has set a new New Zealand Marathon age group record in the womens 70+ catergory with a time of 4:22:32. Judith has been in a rich vein of form; also placing 1st in her age group at the recent Athletics New Zealand Half Marathon Championships in Cambridge two weeks ago.
