Despite a challenging number of days for the Whangarei community and some trepidation about whether or not we should delay round 4 of the 2023 Hātea Grand Prix, the team got it underway much to the relief of many runners.
Great weather and running conditions, some possible nepotism, 46 Runners, Ron’s Toblerone, epic running, appreciated spot prizes and some surprising changes in the results table all made up round 3 of the 2023 Hatea Grand Prix!
Hatea Grand Prix 2023 Event 2 was an absolute belter, with 61 runners showing up to lay it all out on a sodden course. What a turn out for the books! The change in points distribution after 2 events is already very curious.
